Starting his speech with the Basmala in a video message sent to the International Humanitarian Aid Summit titled "The Future of Gaza," organized by the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation and the Al Khair Foundation, President Erdoğan wished for the summit to be successful and prayed that it would be beneficial for all oppressed people, especially the people of Gaza, and for the entire Islamic world.

President Erdoğan extended his "welcome" to the guests who traveled to the country from all corners of the Islamic world for this summit, and congratulated the members of the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation and the Al Khair Foundation for leading this summit focused on the future, reconstruction, and development of Gaza.

Noting that they have once again observed the importance of Islamic countries acting together and joining forces in light of the massacres experienced in Gaza and occupied Palestinian territories since October 7, 2023, Erdoğan said, "Before the eyes of the entire world, nearly 50 thousand of our Palestinian brothers and sisters, mostly children and women, have been martyred. More than 100 thousand innocent Palestinians have been wounded as a result of Israel's bombardments directly targeting civilians."

Stating that the number of those who lost their lives in the attacks on Lebanon has exceeded 3,500, Erdoğan said, "Places of worship, schools, hospitals, and all civilian infrastructure have been targets of Israel's attacks. As Türkiye, we are in full solidarity with our Palestinian brothers and sisters in the face of these attacks. For the past year, we have been trying to reach out to our brothers and sisters, especially in Gaza and Lebanon. With the aid amount exceeding 86 thousand tons that we have sent, we are one of the countries providing the most support to Palestine."

"WE WILL CONTINUE OUR STRUGGLE UNTIL THE MASSACRE ENDS"

Stating that the amount of aid delivered to Lebanon has also exceeded 1,300 tons, Erdoğan added the following:

"We are continuing our diplomatic contacts to ensure that Islamic countries provide a joint response and act together against the oppression in Gaza. We will continue our struggle until the occupation and massacre in Palestine end, and until an independent, sovereign Palestinian State with territorial integrity, based on the 1967 borders and with East Jerusalem as its capital, is established. I believe that the international humanitarian aid summit will support us in this struggle. I would like to thank all the participants who attended the summit once again, and I greet all our guests with affection."
