President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan published a message on his social media account for the October 29 Republic Day.
Erdoğan said the following in his post:
"Today, we are experiencing the excitement and pride of reaching the 100th anniversary of our Republic. I wholeheartedly congratulate our citizens living in our country and all over the world on the October 29 Republic Day."
NO MENTION OF ATATÜRK IN THE MESSAGE
It was observed that there was no mention of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic, in the message. In the visual used in the message, it was noted that Atatürk appeared only within a frame.
