President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at a rally in Ordu.

Here are the highlights from Erdoğan's speech, in which he also targeted the CHP:

"WE DO NOT SEE A PARTY TO COMPETE WITH IN SERVICE"

"We do not have the shame of single-party fascism behind us like the CHP of yesterday, nor do we have a politics built on lies like the CHP of today. We challenge our rivals in almost every city we visit. Surely, our nation does not make us the winner of every election because of our looks. We do not see a party that can compete with us in service or projects.

"IS THIS BROTHER OF YOURS THE PRESIDENT OF THIS COUNTRY?"

Is this brother of yours the President of this country? The President is Erdoğan from the AK Party... The government is with him. Therefore, when there is an AK Party metropolitan municipality and district municipalities here in local government, not a hair on Ordu's head will be harmed."

NATURAL GAS THREAT

Stating that natural gas was brought to many districts of Ordu during their term in power, Erdoğan said, "If we are here, there is natural gas; if we are not here, there is no natural gas."

HOLIDAY BONUS ANNOUNCEMENT FOR RETIREES!

Regarding the bonuses to be given to retirees during the Ramadan Feast, Erdoğan said that they would make an arrangement 'at the expense of straining the budget again' and that retirees would be given a holiday bonus of 3,000 TL.

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

Speaking at a meeting held on February 3 to announce his party's candidates for Hatay, Erdoğan had said:

“If the central government and local government do not join hands, if they are not in solidarity, nothing will come to that city. Did anything come to Hatay? Currently, Hatay has remained strange, has remained forlorn.”
