İmamoğlu alleged that S.B. prepared reports based on non-existent files and asked, "Has there been a case where Istanbul's very famous expert witness S.B. was tried in the Çorlu High Criminal Court for writing a fake expert report?"

RESPONSE FROM BÜYÜKCANAYAKIN

Journalist Barış Pehlivan reached out to S.B., the figure at the center of the controversy. Speaking about the accusations against him, S.B. categorically denied the claims. Stating, "There is no basis for what is being said about me," S.B. claimed in his statements that the accusations were unfounded.

No. You are lying. You are lying in general. Because I don't just work on CHP cases, no one binds me.

I worked on AK Party cases in 2010. I also worked for municipalities for the MHP. I am never a person chosen for this event.

I am in Istanbul. Why do you ask? It is my habit. I have not dealt with the press for a very long time.

Are you normally an accounting officer, sir?

I mean, I also performed functions from my civil service life with an accounting background. I participated in tenders. I did accounting. Since I have been around for a long time, I have been involved in commercial life since 1970. I also did accounting.
