The AKP, which emerged from the March 31 Local Elections with a defeat, fell to the position of the second party across Turkey for the first time.

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had given a message of 'change' in his statement following the election defeat.

'CHANGE' IN AKP AFTER THE CABINET

In this direction, the first change began in the Cabinet. Following the changes in the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, the dismissal of some deputy chairmen is also on the agenda.

According to the report by the Türkiye newspaper, known for its proximity to the government, it is stated that some deputy chairmen will be dismissed in the AKP MKYK. It is noted in the lobbies that some of the deputy chairmen have begun packing their offices and are preparing to say goodbye.

It is alleged that some deputy chairmen who believe they will be dismissed have postponed their planning regarding party activities until after July 23, taking into account the new picture that will emerge.

While it is stated that there may be some changes in the parliamentary group management in the new term starting in October, it is commented that a new change in the cabinet will take place in parallel with the congress calendar.

The abolition of some policy boards and the reduction of chief advisor staff are also among the allegations.
