Eyes turn to the Party Assembly meeting: Leading candidates for CHP in Kadıköy and Çankaya!

Former CHP deputy and journalist Barış Yarkadaş shared the names circulating in the corridors for the CHP's district candidates in Çankaya and Istanbul.

As the local elections approach, the Republican People's Party (CHP) continues its efforts to determine its candidates.

The CHP Central Executive Committee (MYK) met today at 14:00 to determine the mayoral candidates. Following the MYK meeting, the Party Assembly will convene at 18:00 under the chairmanship of Özgür Özel.

The CHP has not yet announced its candidates for Kadıköy, Bakırköy, Adalar, Avcılar, Beykoz, Çekmeköy, Esenyurt, Kağıthane, Sarıyer, Ümraniye, and Zeytinburnu in Istanbul. In Ankara, the candidates for the Çankaya, Sincan, Akyurt, and Çubuk districts have not yet been determined.

While there is great curiosity about which name the CHP will nominate in Çankaya, journalist Barış Yarkadaş shared the latest information he obtained from the corridors.

Sharing on his social media account, Yarkadaş stated that the CHP might nominate Hüseyin Can Güner in Çankaya and Mesut Kösedağı in Kadıköy.

  • Kadıköy: Mesut Kösedağı
  • Ümraniye: Aykut Erdoğdu
  • Avcılar: Utku Caner Çaykara
  • Bakırköy: Ayşegül Ovalıoğlu
  • Sarıyer: Tonguç Çoban / Oktay Aksu (To be decided at the Party Assembly)
  • Beykoz: Alaattin Köseler
  • Adalar: Ali Ercan Akpolat

ANKARA:

  • Çankaya: Hüseyin Can Güner
