Fatih Erbakan announces new figures: We have surpassed the MHP, and in a few days we will surpass the IYI Party

Speaking at the opening of election coordination offices in Eskimalatya, New Welfare Party (YRP) Chairman Fatih Erbakan said, “As of today, our New Welfare Party has reached 488,000 members, leaving the MHP behind, and we are one step away from 500,000, God willing.

The IYI Party is ahead of us; God willing, once we add another 20,000 members, we will surpass the IYI Party in a few days and enter the elections as Turkey's third-largest political party in terms of membership,” he said.

Stating that they will reach one million members within a few months, New Welfare Party (YRP) Chairman Fatih Erbakan said, “First, power in local governments on March 31, and then power in 2028, God willing. From morning to night and night to morning, the New Welfare Party is on everyone's lips on television. What happened? You didn't even mention the New Welfare Party 2-3 years ago. What happened is that our nation has awakened and risen, and the footsteps of the New Welfare Party have begun to be heard by everyone.

They are talking about how many votes the New Welfare Party will get, what it will do, which provinces it will win, what its goal is, and what its strategy is; they are following the New Welfare Party breathlessly. Even though you talk this much, you cannot bring out a single New Welfare Party candidate and ask, 'What are you saying, what is your message?'

We have seen this movie before. In the 90s, before the '94 elections and before the '95 elections, we developed an immunity to this; these tricks don't work on us, and they don't work on this nation. You tried these same maneuvers back then, and when you tried to impose these embargoes, smears, and slanders, they could not prevent the rise and growth of the Welfare Party. All these tricks and all this theater will only serve the growth of our New Welfare Party; the march of the New Welfare Party toward power cannot be stopped,” he said.

Stating that the New Welfare Party will be the only political party to increase its votes in the March 31 elections, Erbakan said, “With God's permission and the blessing of the National View (Milli Görüş), we will receive over twenty percent of the vote thanks to this trust from the nation, God willing.”
