Fatih Erbakan: We are the only party that will increase its votes

New Welfare Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan arrived in Van to attend a rally organized by his party. Speaking at the rally held in the city's Beşyol Square, Erbakan recalled that their late leader Necmettin Erbakan showed special compassion and mercy to the people of the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions.

Quoting the late Erbakan's words, "If you separate the Turk from the Kurd, and the Kurd from the Turk, neither a Turk nor a Kurd will remain. But if the Turk and the Kurd become one, neither America nor Israel can stand against them," Erbakan said, "In our Van, the home of the mujahideen and the land of faithful, believing people, we once again commemorate our late leader Erbakan Hodja with mercy. These words of his did not remain just words. 

The factories and services he established—not just in Van, but the nitrogen industry in Cizre, the Turkish Electromechanical Industry (TEMSAN) in Diyarbakır, the cement factory in Ergani, the sugar factory in Muş—if a single nail was driven into this region for production and to prevent unemployment, it bears the signature of our Erbakan Hodja and the National View (Milli Görüş). May God have abundant mercy on him. The foundations of more than 200 industrial facilities were laid. 

More than 70 of them were put into service despite all obstacles. This spirit is the spirit of the National View. He established the TEMSAN Factory in Diyarbakır, where 10 thousand people would work. Just imagine what the state of Van, Diyarbakır, Bingöl, Bitlis, Muş, and Hakkari would be today if those moves had not been thwarted by coups and obstacles," he said.

"WE WILL BE THE REMEDY"

Stating that they are continuing on their path with the understanding of their late leader Erbakan to serve 85 million people in Turkey and to implement material and spiritual development moves, Erbakan said, "Just as you have embraced our Erbakan Hodja's National View for over 40 years, you are embracing our New Welfare Party and us today as well.

We, too, will be servants to you, just like our Erbakan Hodja. We will implement those development moves and those projects with New Welfare in the new era, God willing. 

Just as in the era of our Erbakan Hodja, our cadres who work not for positions and seats, but for the sake of God, are ready today, thank God. We will embrace the people of this region, with their Turks, Kurds, and Arabs, just as our Erbakan Hodja did for years.

Without any discrimination, we want the people of this region to develop, not to remain unemployed, and for their purchasing power and welfare level to be increased. That is why we will implement hundreds of our projects in all 81 of our provinces. We will generate resources with national resource packages. Just as in the premiership of our Erbakan Hodja, we will save billions of dollars from interest by preventing waste with a single budget. We will increase the purchasing power, welfare level, and quality of life of this nation. We will be the remedy for unemployment, poverty, destitution, and hunger with the yeast of the National View, God willing," he said.

"THEY SAY THE ONLY PARTY THAT WILL INCREASE ITS VOTES IN THE ELECTIONS IS THE NEW WELFARE PARTY"

Expressing that the number of members of the New Welfare Party has reached 475 thousand as of today, Erbakan noted the following:

"There is no other party in Turkey growing at this speed today. 2 thousand 500 members a day, 75 thousand a month, and step by step we have reached 500 thousand. May the Almighty God increase its abundance. The nation is saying 'New Welfare'; the squares, streets, and avenues are saying 'New Welfare'. All of Turkey, from East to West, is saying 'New Welfare'. The wind of New Welfare is blowing in the strongest way across all of Turkey, thank God. They say the only party that will increase its votes in the elections is the New Welfare Party. Who is saying this? I am not saying it. Journalists, polling companies, political scientists, commentators, and even representatives from rival political parties are saying it."
