Yeniden Refah Party (YRP) Chairman Fatih Erbakan attended his party's 3rd Ordinary Congress in Konya. In his speech at the congress, he criticized the AKP government's stance on the developments in Gaza. Erbakan drew attention to the government's actions, which he argued contradict its supposedly harsh statements against Israel.

"YOU CONDEMNED THE GAZA GENOCIDE, BUT THERE IS NO ACTION"

Erbakan emphasized the AKP's rhetoric in the face of Israeli attacks in Gaza. He stated, "You condemned the Gaza genocide at the highest volume, you cursed it in the harshest way, but look, you have not closed the Kürecik Radar Base, which provides intelligence support to Israel." Erbakan noted that the government's reactions have found no practical response.

CRITICISM OF OIL SUPPORT TO ISRAEL

The YRP leader criticized the failure to shut down the Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline, contrary to the AKP's rhetoric against Israel. "You have not closed the Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline, which meets 60 percent of Israel's oil needs, its lifeline," said Erbakan, stating that the government has only displayed a superficial stance regarding Gaza.

"IF YOU ARE THERE, YOU ARE THERE FOR THE PRIVILEGED, NOT FOR THE OPPRESSED"

Erbakan evaluated the AKP's stance by saying, "You are there when it comes to talking about Gaza, you are there with rhetoric, but you are absent in action." Erbakan argued that this stance of the government shows it does not stand with the oppressed, but with the privileged segments.

Erbakan stated that his party continues on its path in line with the National View (Milli Görüş), saying, "We are here. We continue in the same direction, in the National View, with the blessing of the 'basmala' from 1969."
