First concrete step taken for the headquarters of Özgür Özel's new party

As preparations for the establishment of the new party, taking shape under the leadership of Özgür Özel, accelerate, the first concrete development has occurred regarding the party's headquarters. Party Spokesperson Zeynel Emre announced in a statement following the Central Executive Board meeting that a preliminary protocol has been signed for the leasing of the headquarters building.

Emre said the following regarding the process of leasing the building in question: "We held a meeting regarding the building and, along with that, we made a preliminary agreement. We will officially declare the address upon the establishment of our party. We will start the first payment, the monthly rent payment, in October; by that time, the party will have been established and will have received donations, and we will cover it that way."

At the same time, information was shared that the founders' board of the new party will be formed from a broad cadre that will exceed the number of deputies who attended the recently held group meeting.

STRONG MESSAGES DURING THE ESTABLISHMENT PROCESS

Party Spokesperson Emre used the following expressions while evaluating the current situation in the country's politics in his statements:

"Organization workers, along with all of this, we have carried out the process to the end. At the point we have reached, there is no other exit point left.

And we are setting out on a new path. Our preparations in this context are about to be completed, and we are applying to the Ministry of Interior within the next few days. 84 of our deputy friends attended our historic group meeting yesterday. We decided to form a founders' board from the deputies while establishing the group, and in this context, you will see that we are applying with a number even higher than yesterday's figure in our application.

Look, during the quarter-century rule of the Justice and Development Party, this country's century-old institutions have been eroded, closed down, destroyed, and redefined. Unjust prison sentences were given to intellectuals and journalists in this country. A virtual declaration of war was made against non-governmental organizations in this country. Operations were carried out unfairly. The path to organization was blocked.

They occupied the Republican People's Party, which they saw as the biggest obstacle to the institutionalization of this order, with their own hands.

We want you to know that we take every step in an organized manner. Look, you will hear the name of our party officially on the day we submit the petition. Why? Because we are an organization that has seized state organs and is prepared to do all kinds of evil to stay in power. And unfortunately, we are facing collaborators within us. Therefore, I kindly ask you to carefully follow the calls and statements that will come from us, both regarding our starting this work with our deputies and submitting the establishment petition, and all of these, including resignations and calls in the process ahead."

Regarding the process, Emre emphasized that the main participants in the party-building phase would be deputies, and that there would be broader surprises in the coming period:

"Whatever we say, whatever we plan, we are developing a strategy by also considering what the organized evil facing us might do. Therefore, we entered this process with deputies in the first stage of this establishment phase. As the process progresses, well, there will be nice surprises for you from us, let me put it that way.
