A video of Kurum speaking with his campaign team, whose candidacy is set to be officially announced today, has surfaced on social media. Kurum stated, "Together with our team and all our colleagues, we will set out for the 16 million residents of Istanbul. We will go street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood with our entire team to eliminate this chaos and disorder in Istanbul, as well as our people's concerns regarding earthquake risk."
