First statement from dismissed MHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Sertel Selim! 'The burden placed on our shoulders...'
The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Istanbul Provincial Organization and its 39 affiliated district organizations have been dissolved by the party headquarters. In a statement on his social media account, the dismissed Istanbul Provincial Chair Sertel Selim said, "We are at the command of our leader Devlet Bahçeli."

MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın announced in a statement on social media that the dissolution decision was taken based on the authority granted by articles 34, 52, and 54 of the party charter.
Following the decision, MHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Sertel Selim made a statement on his social media account, saying, "The sacred duty of the Istanbul Provincial Chairmanship, which was placed on our shoulders, has come to an end as of today. We are at the command of our leader, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli. May Almighty Allah not let our leader be absent from our side, God willing."
VOLKAN YILMAZ APPOINTED AS REPLACEMENT
As part of the restructuring process within the party, Volkan Yılmaz has been appointed to the position of Istanbul Provincial Chair.
