First statement from Özgür Özel after the party congress ruling! 'We are in birth again...'

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel shared a meaningful message on social media following the postponement of the party congress lawsuit.

The fifth hearing of the lawsuit regarding the cancellation of the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress and 21st Extraordinary Congress took place. During the hearing, Lütfü Savaş's lawyer, Üregen, requested that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu be appointed as a precautionary measure until the case is concluded. One of the CHP's lawyers, Çağlar Çağlayan, reiterated that the court lacks jurisdiction over the matter.

The court postponed the hearing to Friday, October 24, and ruled that there was no need to issue a decision on all previously evaluated requests for precautionary measures.

Following the postponement of the case, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel made a notable post on his social media account. Özel included a poem by Adnan Yücel accompanied by footage from the CHP's Tandoğan rally.

His message included the following lines:
