First survey after the party congress: Striking results from the 'Will Özgür Özel be successful?' poll!

Yöneylem Research took the pulse of the electorate following the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress. The survey, which asked voters, "Do you think the Republican People's Party will be successful under the leadership of Özgür Özel?", yielded notable results.

At the 38th Ordinary Congress of the Republican People's Party held on November 4-5, the chairmanship election was won by the candidate of the change movement, Özgür Özel. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who had held the chairmanship for 13 years, handed over his seat to Özgür Özel.

HOW DO VOTERS VIEW THE CHANGE?

Voters were asked the question, "There was a change of chairman in the CHP at the last Congress. In which direction has your attitude toward the CHP changed following the Congress?" n/a

35.9% of the voters participating in the survey stated that their attitude had changed in a positive direction, while 10.3% stated it had changed in a negative direction.

The proportion of voters who said there was no change in their attitude was 49.2%, while the rate of those who did not respond to the question was determined to be 4.6%.


WILL ÖZGÜR ÖZEL BE SUCCESSFUL?

Voters were also asked the question, "Do you think the Republican People's Party will be successful under the leadership of Özgür Özel?"

40% of the voters participating in the survey expressed that they think the CHP will be successful with Özgür Özel, while 47.6% expressed the opinion that it will not be successful.


BY PARTY PREFERENCE

When examined in terms of party preferences, 82% of CHP voters are of the opinion that the CHP will be successful under the leadership of Özgür Özel. 64% of IYI Party voters, 54% of HEDEP voters, and 49% of TİP voters think that the CHP will be successful with Özgür Özel.
