In his statement, Çelik said, "The unlawful 'Forced Appearance Order' regarding Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has been revoked! The Istanbul 48th Criminal Court of First Instance has taken a step back from its decision, which caused public outcry! The judge in question was forced to revoke their own legal decision as of today, even before an objection was filed... For the information of the public..."

Former CHP MP and journalist Barış Yarkadaş had announced that the Istanbul 48th Criminal Court of First Instance had issued a "forced appearance" order for the 7th Chairman of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

In a post on the social media platform X, Yarkadaş had shared the court's forced appearance order in the case opened upon the complaint of Mustafa Doğan İnal, the former lawyer of AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
