The repercussions of MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's meeting with the DEM Party delegation yesterday continue. Following the calls made by MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, a DEM Party delegation went to İmralı and met with Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the terrorist organization PKK. After the meeting, the delegation visited Bahçeli at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). The DEM Party's visits, along with meetings with Kurtulmuş and Bahçeli, are set to continue on Monday.

Reactions to the meeting have also begun to emerge. Former MHP MP and former Idealist Hearths President Atila Kaya shared his criticisms of Bahçeli on social media. Kaya described the meeting held by Bahçeli as 'mindlessness'.

Kaya used the following expressions on social media:

"If you can stomach what you have done; that is up to your character or even your stomach. However, if you think you can fit these into Turkish nationalism; it is near for you to see that there is no room left for you there either. To claim that the perpetrator is the 'Turkish State Mind' is, in itself, mindlessness!"
