Former İYİ Party district chair was target of armed attack: 2 people arrested
In Antalya, 2 suspects have been arrested in connection with the armed attack on the former İYİ Party Manavgat district chair, while 2 others alleged to be the planner and instigator have been detained.

According to a statement from the Governor's Office, former İYİ Party Manavgat District Chair Hüseyin Ergen was injured in an armed attack in front of his home in the Side neighborhood on January 31.
COURT HAS REACHED A VERDICT
The Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Gendarmerie Criminal Investigation Team (JASAT) conducted a meticulous 14-hour investigation in the area and identified the car used in the attack.
During the operation, the driver of the vehicle and the person who fired the shots at Ergen were taken into custody.
The 2 suspects, who were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the gendarmerie, were arrested by the criminal judgeship of peace.
Expanding their investigation, JASAT teams, through their diligent work to fully clarify the incident, detained 2 suspects at their residences in an operation, who are considered to be the planner and instigator of the armed attack.
