According to a report by The Washington Post, Haley said in an interview with SiriusXM radio, "I had no intention of being in his cabinet. He knew that."

Stating that Trump did his best to humiliate her in public, Haley remarked, "I know the game he plays. I don't need to play that game."

Haley suggested that Trump can sometimes exhibit a "shallow" attitude, arguing that this behavior proves it.

Pointing out that the American people made their voices heard in the election, Haley said, "At this point, we should pray for the success of Trump and everyone he appoints."

What happened?

Trump announced in a post on his social media account, Truth Social, that he would not invite former UN Permanent Representative Haley and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to his new administration.

Haley, in a statement on her X social media account, had said, "I wish him great success in moving us to a stronger and safer America over the next four years."

Haley, who competed against Trump in the primaries, had announced her support for him after withdrawing from the race.

Haley served as the U.S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 2017 to 2018.
