Here is a panorama of the 3 messages Bahçeli has sent to the government in the last 143 days...
MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's Ferdi Tayfur post, made 24 days after the March 31 local elections, had drawn attention.
IT STARTED WITH FERDİ TAYFUR
In a post made from the Nationalist Movement Party's social media account, moments of Chairman Devlet Bahçeli walking on a path were shared, and it was seen that the footage was accompanied by Ferdi Tayfur's song titled "Söyleten Sensin" (You Are the One Who Makes Me Say It).
While the chosen song drew attention due to its lyrics, the song included lines such as "I became a friend to you, you became an enemy / Did you find me according to yourself? / If I call you a traitor, you are the one who makes me say it / Don't get angry at the words I say to you / If I am complaining, you are the one who makes me do it."
These lyrics were thought to be a signal from MHP leader Bahçeli to the AKP and Erdoğan immediately after the local elections.
IT CONTINUED WITH A FILE AND A RING
On June 11, MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, speaking at his party's group meeting, made a meaningful post before Erdoğan's return visit to the CHP and its chairman Özgür Özel.
Sharing a post on his Instagram account, Bahçeli shared a photo of a ring inscribed with "Allah is enough for me" and a file under his hand. The fact that there was a file under Bahçeli's hand drew attention.
On the same day, Ayşe Ateş, the wife of the former Ülkü Ocakları (Idealist Hearths) President Sinan Ateş, who was murdered in Ankara, met with President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
THE 17-25 DECEMBER DETAIL
Following the attack on Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç in the 2nd week of the Super Lig, Ali Koç first visited CHP leader Özgür Özel at the CHP Headquarters, and then MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli at the MHP Headquarters.
A striking detail caught the eye during the Bahçeli visit.
In the photograph taken during the visit, the "17-25 December clock" behind Bahçeli and Koç drew attention.
Can Dündar, the then Editor-in-Chief of Cumhuriyet Newspaper, who visited Bahçeli in Ankara in 2015, had recounted the story of the clock fixed at 17.25 in the MHP leader's office. Bahçeli, who stopped the clock at 17.25 in reference to the 17-25 December investigations, had said, "I did this myself. I took out the battery when it showed 17.25. From this, you can understand that we will never step back from our promise to hold those responsible for 17 and 25 December accountable." The clock fixed at 17.25 appeared again in today's Bahçeli-Koç meeting.
Furthermore, while the detail emerged that the photo had been in the room since July 2, 2023, the reason why the 17-25 December clock returned to the room became a subject of curiosity.
