Future Party Istanbul Deputy Selim Temurci, who entered parliament on the CHP list, responded to Kübra Par's question on the program "Farklı Açılar" (Different Angles), "In your opinion, who has a higher chance, Murat Kurum or Ekrem İmamoğlu?" by saying, "These two favorite names are being talked about more; of course, politics is always open to surprises. I think Mr. Murat is a step ahead."

Temurci said, "I think a Kadir Topbaş-style approach would be better for Istanbul's problems. In this regard, I say that Murat Kurum is further ahead."

In the program Temurci attended, the Local Administration Elections to be held on Sunday, March 31, 2024, were discussed.

"I THINK MR. MURAT IS AHEAD"

Temurci answered Par's question, "In your opinion, who has a higher chance, Murat Kurum or Ekrem İmamoğlu?" by saying, "These two favorite names are being talked about more; of course, politics is always open to surprises. I think Mr. Murat is a step ahead."

"IT WILL BE BETTER FOR ISTANBUL'S PROBLEMS"

To Par's question, "As the Future Party, would you consider forming an alliance with the AK Party or supporting their candidate?" Temurci replied, "The Future Party is in talks with every political party in Turkey. The Future Party's management is negotiating with political parties regarding Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, and Konya. They will make a decision by February 20. In the coming period, Istanbulites will evaluate the performance of the current mayor.

They will also evaluate the performance of Murat Kurum. Let me be clear. I do not want Istanbul to be the center of political fights. Istanbul is a very important province for a political career. If you chase bigger goals without being a servant to Istanbul, Istanbul will not carry you anywhere.

I think a Kadir Topbaş-style approach would be better for Istanbul's problems. In this regard, I say that Murat Kurum is further ahead."
