28-page 'Imralı' notes of PKK terrorist leader Öcalan: 'There are countries telling us not to lay down arms'

According to journalist Aytunç Erkin, the 28-page notes that emerged following the Imrali meeting held in May contain significant details regarding the so-called disarmament process of the terrorist organization PKK. 

In the meeting notes, the remarks made by terrorist Abdullah Ocalan regarding the resolution process stand out. Ocalan stated that 5 percent of the process remains and that this portion is left to politicians, saying, "You need to say this, you need to tell the politicians, how can you not accomplish this 5 percent?" It is stated that these words are interpreted as a call to politicians to complete the process.

In the Imrali meeting, it is noted that some international actors have been suggesting that the PKK "not lay down its arms." The meeting also mentions that pressure is being applied regarding demands for a federation in Rojava and that there is an aim to establish strategic contact with Qandil. While evaluating these developments, PKK leader Ocalan made the following statement: "Aren't these the American, Israeli, and Iranian wings? Look, see this. I am telling you to understand and draw conclusions. Look, the fact that this trump card was taken out of their hands frightened them."

"According to the allegations, Ocalan's emphasis in the Imrali meeting that 'Politics must solve this and 5 percent remains' is striking:

'You need to be deeper. I told friend Sabri on the teleconference: 'You don't know how to live, nor do you know how to fight'. Even the officials were surprised. It still holds its validity. The PKK dissolving itself is 50 percent, abandoning the national liberation line is 25 percent, and the call having been made is 10 percent. That makes a total of 85 percent. If we also count the practical work you (referring to the officials) have done and carried out as 10 percent, that means a total of 95 percent. The remaining 5 percent is the part left to the politicians. Look! Raise hell. You need to say this. You need to tell the politicians, how can you not accomplish this 5 percent?'"

In the meeting notes, after Ocalan's sentences regarding the process, "There are those who want to stir things up. To me, this table and what is being discussed are historic. Will it be 100 percent successful? It cannot be. There are spoilers," the following assessment by the delegation is striking:

'There are those who want to spoil it from the outside. According to what Qandil stated, influential powers are intervening after the call. They want to meet with them. They say, "Do not lay down your arms." They say, "Why don't you want a federation in Rojava?" The UN and other powers say they support the process. But they are secretly establishing contact and saying, "do not lay down your arms." Those who were hesitant to even say hello until now want to meet with Qandil. They want to develop a high-level strategic relationship. They have a tendency to support the movement.'
