AKP Deputy Chairman Mustafa Elitaş evaluated the CHP's calls for early elections.
Speaking on Kanal 7, Elitaş provided a date for early elections.
He stated that if the CHP comes together with 360 deputies and supports the decision for an early election, the process could be moved forward.
Criticizing CHP Chairman Özgür Özel's calls for early elections, Elitaş said, "Özel says, 'I want to be the leader who defeats Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.' If he has the courage to stand behind his words, he can request an election at the end of 2027."
''ÖZEL AND İMAMOĞLU ARE SEEKING VICTIMHOOD''
Elitaş claimed that CHP leader Özel and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu are trying to create a perception of victimhood through the judiciary.
Arguing that the duo is following a strategy of specifically insulting members of the judiciary, Elitaş used the expressions, "They are planning, 'Can I be a victim of a lawsuit?' Both friends want to become victims by insulting others."
