The new opening process, which began with MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's remarks referring to PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan as a "founding leader" and his invitation to Parliament, has continued with a so-called disarmament ceremony. 

As part of the process, PKK terrorists held a so-called "disarmament" demonstration in Sulaymaniyah.

THEY BURNED THE WEAPONS, CAMERAS WERE RECORDING

In the Iraqi city of Sulaymaniyah, a group of approximately 30 PKK members burned their weapons in line with the organization's "dissolution decision," presenting the act to the public with cameras present. 

However, this symbolic act turned into a propaganda demonstration held in front of numerous journalists, civil society representatives, and members of parliament.

INVITATION LIST OF 150 PEOPLE

The organization of the ceremony was carried out by the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party). Approximately 150 people, including bar association presidents, human rights associations, Peace Mothers, representatives of various NGOs, and members of the press, attended the event. 

Participants were transported to the borders of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Iraq via four buses.
