The Shadow Ministry structure, which has been implemented by the Republican People's Party (CHP) for two years, has been transformed into a new structure following the completion of the Party Program work and the commencement of preparations for the Government Program. The CHP has implemented a new model that will produce executive policies, rather than being limited solely to the monitoring and oversight of ministries.

In this context, the CAO Executive Board was established within the Presidential Candidate Office (CAO) to develop executive policies and introduce these policies to the public.

COORDINATION BOARD ALSO ESTABLISHED

A Coordination Board was also established to ensure the coordination and administrative management of the Presidential Candidate Office's policy-making processes. While Bülent Tezcan assumed the role of General Coordinator of the Coordination Board, Emine Uçak and Ece Güner also took part in the board.

TWO NAMES FROM OUTSIDE THE PM AND PARLIAMENT

In accordance with the party charter, the CAO Executive Board also includes two individuals who are not members of the Party Assembly (PM) or members of parliament. These individuals were announced as Retired Vice Admiral Atilla Kezek, Head of the National Defense Policy Board, and Sencer Solakoğlu, Head of the Agriculture Policy Board. It was stated that all Policy Board Chairs will preside over the policy boards established in their respective fields of duty.

FIRST MEETING ON DECEMBER 16

It was announced that the CAO Executive Board will meet every two weeks under the chairmanship of Chairman Özgür Özel. In addition to the Policy Board Chairs, CHP Secretary General Selin Sayek Böke and CAO General Coordinator Bülent Tezcan will also attend the meetings. It was reported that the board's first meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 16, at 13:30 at the Presidential Candidate Office.
