Call from Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan to Mansur Yavaş: 'Drop that pride, come to Mamak'

Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan drew attention with a call he made to Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş via social media.

Özcan invited Mansur Yavaş to attend the meeting organized for Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. Sending a message to Yavaş saying, "Today is not a day for caprice, it is a time for unity," Özcan emphasized unity and solidarity, stating that CHP members must give full support to the decisions made by their party.

Addressing Mansur Yavaş, who came together today in the capital with the participation of Ekrem İmamoğlu and CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, Tanju Özcan used the words, "Drop that stubborn pride, come to Mamak."

In his call, Özcan drew attention to the importance of the meeting organized by Ekrem İmamoğlu, saying, "The form and timing of the primary election decision may be debatable, but the decision taken is in accordance with party law and is a decision that binds all CHP members."

Özcan continued his words as follows: "Sitting in the metropolitan building in Ankara and displaying an approach of 'I do not take the CHP's primary election seriously' does not suit Mr. Mansur Yavaş. In the words of our region, brother Mansur, drop that stubborn pride, come let us give a message of unity to our friends."
