Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who visited Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu at the Silivri Prison where he is being held, brought up the corruption files related to Melih Gökçek once again in his statement following the visit, saying, "I have submitted nearly 100 files in Ankara. To this day, Mr. Gökçek has not even been called to testify. Therefore, it is impossible to speak of law and justice in such an environment. Mr. Özdağ's detention has exceeded 2 months and there is no indictment. Unfortunately, lawlessness prevails in our country."
According to the report by Mustafa Bildircin from BirGün, it was learned that the total public loss in the files sent to the prosecutor's office is 3 billion TL.
Some of the transactions reported to the prosecutor's office, which raise suspicions that public resources were used for rent-seeking purposes during the Gökçek era, are listed as follows:

MOLDOVAN MANUAL THERAPIST ASSIGNED TO THE PRESIDENTIAL RESIDENCE
The report also alleges that it was documented that Ana A., a Moldovan national hired as a manual therapist at the municipal subsidiary Anket A.Ş., was assigned to the presidential residence; it was noted that Ana A., who worked with a monthly salary of 3,800 TL, was sent from the presidential residence back to the company one month before Gökçek resigned.
A public property was unlawfully given to FETÖ members through deliberate and planned council decisions and zoning changes.
