Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi included remarkable remarks in his article evaluating the statements made by KCK Executive Council Co-Chair Bese Hozat following the messages sent by Abdullah Öcalan through Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Pervin Buldan.
In his article, addressing the KCK, which claims loyalty to Öcalan's will, Selvi wrote, "Since Öcalan is your 'Leader,' and since you say 'Imralı's will is our will,' you must stand behind Öcalan's will without any 'ifs' or 'buts' and act in accordance with the call he will make.
''Öcalan will declare that weapons are to be laid down and terrorism is at an end, and you must convene your congress and implement these decisions,” he said.
''TURKEY IS EXTENDING A HAND, YOU ARE IGNORING IT''
Stating in his article that Turkey is taking steps to resolve the terrorism issue, Selvi wrote, “In this very conjuncture, the Republic of Turkey is extending a hand to solve the problem fundamentally.
Öcalan can see this in Imralı, but you in Kandil are still showing resistance. You have lost both in Turkey and in the region. Your supporters are withdrawing one by one. Even America is looking for a place to sell you out,” he stated.
