Early election poll results revealed: The public is insistent, while the government has closed the doors
As debates over early elections continue in politics, the TÜSİAR early election poll has emerged. In the survey, where the question 'Should there be an early election in Turkey?' was asked, the public expressed a desire for an early election.

The Turkey Strategic Research and Consultancy (TÜSİAR) asked citizens the question “Do you think there should be an early election?” in a public opinion survey conducted between May 22-25, 2025.
Striking results emerged from the research, which was conducted in over 30 provinces with a large number of participants.
According to the survey, 61.28% of participants expressed support for an early election, while 37.02% stated they were against it. The rate of undecided voters remained below 1%.
The government front, however, has completely closed its doors to demands for an early election.
The AKP and MHP have stated that the election calendar will not change until 2028.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Devlet Bahçeli had previously stated in their remarks regarding the possibility of an early election that "elections will be held on time."
