The new episode of the "Fatih Altaylı CANNOT COMMENT" series, published on Fatih Altaylı's personal YouTube channel, was released under the title "Enjoy it." In the video, Altaylı's daughter, Zeynep Altaylı, read the letter he sent from prison.
HE DID NOT WANT TO GET INTO THE CHP'S PARTY CONGRESS CASE
In his letter, Altaylı stated that he would not go into details regarding the CHP's party congress case, which is being heard today at the Ankara 42nd Civil Court of First Instance. However, Altaylı drew attention to the rise of the CHP, saying, "The CHP has now become the political party with the highest vote share in Europe."
"THE GOVERNMENT'S VOTE IS FALLING, AND PRESSURE IS NOT SAVING IT EITHER"
Fatih Altaylı's most striking remarks concerned the vote shares of the ruling bloc. Stating that the government is now suffering a serious loss of support in the eyes of the public, Altaylı wrote the following:
“The government is gradually weakening, and this will continue. Neither a strong opposition nor major political maneuvers are needed. Empty pots, injustice, and pressure are now enough. Despite all state resources, the media, and pressure, the AKP is at around 28 percent. When viewed as the People's Alliance, they cannot even reach 40 percent.”
"THE POWER IS YOURS, ENJOY IT"
Altaylı concluded his letter with a message instilling morale in the citizens:
“The power is at the ballot box, meaning it is yours. Do not forget this. Despite all this lawlessness, injustice, and pressure, the public's common sense is still intact. Enjoy it.”
