Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı (ROK), a pro-government commentator known for defending the Ergenekon, Balyoz, and the so-called match-fixing conspiracy cases, had drawn attention with his support for the process following MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's call to Öcalan on October 22.
HE HAD SAID A HOUSE WAS PREPARED FOR ÖCALAN
In a statement on November 29, Kütahyalı claimed that a house was being prepared in Ankara for terrorist leader Öcalan and defended this claim with the following words:
"Look, I'm saying it's ready. What more can I say? What more can I say? Should I show you the living room furniture?"
In his new video, Kütahyalı returned to this controversial claim. He suggested that Öcalan not being brought to Ankara was not the state's choice, but his own personal preference.
Stating, "The state wanted Öcalan to come to Ankara, but Öcalan refused, saying 'This would be a provocation'," ROK argued that the process was being reflected differently.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS CLAIM AT İMRALI
Kütahyalı claimed that another reason for Öcalan's rejection of Ankara was the conditions at İmralı. Suggesting that Öcalan has various communication opportunities there, ROK used the following expressions:
"I think he looks at X there, he looks at YouTube, he looks at Instagram. He watches Cüneyt Özdemir, he watches here too. We don't know."
