WHY DID DEVLET BAHÇELİ UNDERGO SURGERY?
Devlet Bahçeli was admitted to the Anadolu Medical Center in Gebze, Kocaeli, on February 4, 2025, for planned examinations and treatments. Signs of degeneration were detected in his heart valve, which had been replaced 10 years ago.
For this reason, the existing valve was replaced with an interventional procedure on February 6. It was announced that the surgery was completed successfully without complications, that Bahçeli's medical condition was good and stable, and that he would be discharged from the hospital in a short time to return to his normal life.
