Former AKP deputy Şamil Tayyar has brought a striking claim to the agenda regarding the Imrali minutes. Tayyar reacted to the statements made by Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit, a member of the DEM Party who was part of the Imrali delegation.
Regarding Koçyiğit's statements, Tayyar said, "If I were to write down the notes I have, or if the Imrali minutes were published, the DEM Party would suffer the most, just so the process wouldn't be harmed."
“LET THE IMRALI MINUTES BE PUBLISHED IN FULL”
Tayyar pointed out that the DEM Party would be in a difficult position following the publication of the Imrali minutes, noting that Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, who managed the commission during that process, and other politicians would also be put in a difficult spot.
Tayyar made a harsh assessment, stating, "They wouldn't be able to look Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, who managed the commission, in the face, for starters." Tayyar also expressed that the relationship between the PKK and Barzani would be negatively affected by this situation.
Tayyar stated that Koçyiğit from the DEM Party had previously called what he wrote "lies," but that the statements Koçyiğit gave completely confirmed what he had written.
Tayyar noted that Koçyiğit had claimed that "a political coup could be carried out against those leading the process politically," emphasizing that this rhetoric aligns with what he had written. Tayyar recalled that Koçyiğit had previously said, "I have no information," and expressed that he found this situation contradictory.
“THERE IS NO ONE YOU HAVEN'T SNITCHED ON”
Continuing his remarks, Tayyar criticized Koçyiğit and others, saying, "There is almost no one you haven't snitched on, including Ertuğrul Kürkçü."
Tayyar stated that Koçyiğit also reacted to Öcalan's phrase "write, Gülistan," and said that Öcalan's style is known by everyone. Drawing attention to Öcalan's language, Tayyar said, "The term 'zottirik' he used for Baydemir is still in everyone's memory."
Finally, Tayyar concluded his remarks by saying, "I think you shouldn't poke it too much."
