Metropoll Research's latest "Pulse of Turkey" poll for September 2025 has presented data that could shift the balance in politics.
The İYİ Party recorded the most notable rise of the recent period with 8.1 percent of the vote. This result shows that the İYİ Party has gained significant momentum heading into elections.
The rise of the İYİ Party resulted in a narrow gap in vote shares with the MHP. While the MHP remained at 8.6 percent, it stayed approximately 0.5 points ahead of the İYİ Party. Thus, a neck-and-neck race is observed between the two parties.
VOTE SHARES OF THE ZAFER PARTY AND OTHER PARTIES
The Zafer Party received 3.7 percent of the vote, while the Anahtar Party reached 3.3 percent. The New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) obtained a vote share of 5.7 percent.
The participants' biggest concerns are the country's economic situation. According to the poll results, the economy emerged as Turkey's biggest problem. A large portion of the participants emphasized that economic difficulties must be overcome.
THE PROBLEM OF UNEMPLOYMENT AND JUSTICE
Unemployment ranked second, and justice ranked third. This shows that the Turkish public harbors serious concerns not only about economic problems but also about the difficulties in the labor market and injustices in the legal system.
Another striking result of the poll was the answers given to the question regarding the direction of Turkey. 63.3 percent of the participants answered, "Turkey is heading in the wrong direction."
Another interesting point was that one-third of AKP voters believe the country is heading in the wrong direction.
