While discussions on early elections continue in politics, a new electoral alliance claim has emerged in Ankara's political circles. Journalist Sabahattin Önkibar alleged that the İYİ Party and the Zafer Party have reached an agreement on an electoral alliance.
He argued that the synergy created by including other parties in this union would significantly increase the opposition's vote share.
Journalist Sabahattin Önkibar said the following regarding the new alliance:
I am saying this with emphasis. What I am about to convey regarding the consensus between the Zafer Party and the İYİ Party is not a rumor or a whisper from the corridors. It is definite information. The Zafer Party and the İYİ Party will enter the election together, that is, jointly.
A consensus, and even an agreement, has been reached on this matter at the very top level as of today. According to the polls conducted, if the two parties enter the election together, they are receiving between 10 and 15 percent of the vote. If Fatih Erbakan's New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) and Yavuz Ağıralioğlu's Key Party (Anahtar Partisi) are included in this union, the expected vote share with the resulting synergy will be between 15% and 20%. Based on this fact, I am warning the members of the Zafer Party and the İYİ Party and inviting them to act accordingly.
"MHP WILL NOT EVEN REACH 5%"
It is obvious that people like Meral Akşener will want to prevent such an electoral cooperation, whether through personal threats or fake polls. Because it is now proven that Meral Hanım is with the palace, and the good news is that Musavvat Bey is aware of everything. On this occasion, my suggestion to İYİ Party leader Dervişoğlu is to bring names of center-right origin to the forefront. Because nationalist votes are certain and there are 6 parties in the schools.
If two names like Turan Çömez are added to the İYİ Party, the votes coming from the center-right field can be increased. Look, in this environment where everyone fears they are being listened to and watched, the polls conducted may not reflect the truth for the opposition. I am noting this down. You will see that if the MHP enters the election with its own emblem, it will not even be able to reach 5%. Undoubtedly, all of this will be valid if there is a real election in Turkey from now on. If you ask what I mean, between us, the government will do everything to prevent an election it will lose.
