The latest election survey released by Metropoll Research has shown that the balance of power in politics is being reshaped.
The responses to the question "If there were an election this Sunday" clearly revealed the change in the parties' vote shares.
According to the survey, the CHP took first place with 32.2 percent of the vote. The CHP was followed by the AKP with 31.3 percent.
DISSOLUTION IN THE NATIONALIST BASE
The most striking picture in the results occurred within the nationalist base.
The Zafer Party and the IYI Party placed third and fourth with 6.7 percent of the vote each. The DEM Party took its place in third ahead of these two parties with 7.6 percent.
The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) emerged from the survey with only 5.1 percent of the vote. With this result, the MHP fell to sixth place. This picture revealed that a significant portion of nationalist voters has turned toward the Zafer Party and the IYI Party.
