Remarkable convention date statement from Özgür Özel: He pointed to September 9!

Excitement is at its peak in the CHP ahead of the party congress lawsuit to be held on September 15. While the marathon of the congress and convention calendar continues in the shadow of the courts, remarkable statements have come from CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.

Özel spoke to Mustafa Balbay from the Cumhuriyet newspaper and made an important assessment regarding the status of CHP's Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik.

STATEMENT FROM CHP FOLLOWING YSK DECISIONS

Özgür Özel made an assessment following the decisions of the Supreme Election Council (YSK). Stating that the YSK is the owner of the election processes, Özel used the following expressions:

“It is the best possible decision under these conditions. The YSK said, ‘I am the owner of the election processes.’ Under these conditions, Özgür Çelik will be the CHP İstanbul provincial chairman again in five weeks. We will announce the date of our grand congress on September 9. Our 39th ordinary congress will likely be held at the end of November.”
