AKP member Şamil Tayyar claimed that the recentresignationswithin the CHPare merely a beginningand that more departuresfrom the partywill occur.
Stating that unrest within the CHP has increasedfollowing the resignation of Özlem Çerçioğlu,who servedfor 23 yearsin the CHP and as the Mayor of Aydın Metropolitan Municipality,Tayyar said these developmentsare in his party's favor.Tayyar criticized CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and party officials for attributing the departures of those who left the party solely to "fear." Emphasizing that this approach by Özel and his team is wrong, Tayyar said, "If Özgür Özel and his team attribute the departures from the CHP only to fear, they are making a big mistake." Tayyar stated that the strategy Özel is trying to implement to lead his party to power is flawed.Tayyar argued that the real problem in the CHP is internal unrest. "Under Özel's leadership, the CHP is very disorganized, cadres are in conflict, factionalism is at its peak, and a happy minority is chasing rent," said Tayyar, noting that tensions within the CHP threaten the party's future. Tayyar said that mayors and members of parliament have begun to leave due to the unrest within the party.Stating that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and his team should look inward first instead of looking for culprits elsewhere, Tayyar said, "Özel and his team should look inside first instead of looking for the culprit elsewhere. Otherwise, the resignations will not be limited to this. Many mayors and deputies are on the verge of breaking away."
NEW TRANSFERS ARE COMING: CHP SHOULD BE READY FOR SHOCKS
