Second wave of cabinet reshuffle after the holiday is imminent: 4 ministers are in the crosshairs

Following the recent appointments in the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Interior, there is talk in Ankara's political circles that cabinet changes will continue.

According to reports by Yeniçağ, strong rumors have emerged that a revision will be made in at least 4 ministries with a second wave of changes expected to take place after the holiday.

NEW APPOINTMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE

In recent days, Akın Gürlek was appointed to the Ministry of Justice replacing Yılmaz Tunç, and Mustafa Çiftçi was appointed to the Ministry of Interior replacing Ali Yerlikaya. However, following these changes, rumors that changes would be made in other ministries have gained momentum in political circles.

In Ankara's political circles, there is intense discussion that Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy could be dismissed.

Allegations that Ersoy was responsible for the death of 78 people in the fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel in Kartalkaya have been at the center of criticism. Furthermore, Minister Ersoy anchoring his luxury yacht, valued at 1.5 billion lira, in front of the Bodrum Maxx Royal Hotel, which he owns, also drew significant public backlash.

Among the names considered to replace Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Erkan Güral and Batuhan Mumcu stand out. It is frequently mentioned in political circles that these two names are among the strongest candidates for the Ministry of Tourism.

Fatin Rüştü Karakaş is expected to be appointed to replace Minister of Trade Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat. Additionally, the appointment of Faruk Özçelik or Ahmet Aydın to replace Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan is on the agenda.

Another piece of inside information is that Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş could be removed from her post. A surprise name is expected to be appointed to replace Göktaş. It is also stated that changes could occur in a few more ministries.
