Sedat Peker breaks his silence: A striking letter to Fatih Altaylı! 'The country is divided into three'

Addressing the murder of Rojin Kabaiş, new-generation mafia groups, and criticisms of the government, Peker used expressions that are set to shake the agenda.
Trials against Sedat Peker are ongoing for 5 different crimes at the Istanbul Anatolian 16th High Criminal Court and for 2 separate crimes at the Bursa 5th High Criminal Court.
A red notice was issued for Peker, who is abroad, across 194 countries on February 1, 2022, and lawsuits filed for its cancellation were rejected. Issues such as Peker purchasing a house for a martyr's family in Turkey and covering the medical treatment of a veteran police officer were also brought to the Parliament's agenda. IYI Party Secretary General Uğur Poyraz had stated, "Peker is protecting the family of the murdered Ahmet Minguzzi in court and on the streets." CHP member Salih Uzun had noted that "threats stopped after Peker's lawyer took on the legal representation of Minguzzi."
25 MILLION LIRA REWARD FOR THE ROJİN MURDER
Sedat Peker also made statements regarding the murder of Rojin Kabaiş. Peker announced that he would offer a 25 million lira reward for the clarification of the murder. Peker said, "Saygı brother, through this interview I have conducted with you, I would like to state clearly to the Turkish public: Whoever provides the information, documents, and evidence that will clarify the murder of our sister Rojin will be given a 25 million lira reward." Peker also touched upon the report issued by the Council of Forensic Medicine regarding the murder and stated that before the murder, Rojin was raped by more than one person and then killed. Furthermore, he expressed that those who remain silent about the murder are not speaking out due to fear. A day earlier, a witness had said that Rojin was seen with a young man in a vehicle waiting across the road before the incident.
LETTER TO Fatih Altaylı
Sedat Peker announced that he had written a letter to journalist Fatih Altaylı following the tension they experienced in the past.
Stating, "There have been problems between us for many long years; I did not seek to determine who was right or wrong," Peker spoke about the injustices he and Altaylı had faced in the past. Peker recalled the injustices the press committed against him during the time he entered prison and expressed his respect for Altaylı. In his letter, he included the expressions, "I know he is a stubborn person, but as someone who has served time in prison, I must say that if there is anything I can do for him, I would be honored to do so."
“I SEE MYSELF AS A DROP OF WATER”
Sedat Peker also reacted to statements made by the opposition such as "Sedat Peker is providing justice in Turkey." Stating, "The only thing I will say on this matter is that I am very sad," Peker indicated that he considers himself a drop of water alongside the Turkish state. Peker said he has no special effort to constantly remain on Turkey's agenda.
Criticizing the AKP government, Peker said, "The AKP came to power because of the reactions of people who call themselves secular. The 20-year AK Party government created its own wealthy class as a reprisal and tried to place its own cadres into the state."
Stating that the country is divided into three, Peker said that one segment lives in poverty and that this poverty continues for generations. Peker stated that poverty must be eradicated and that mafia groups are targeting the wealthy to collect protection money.
Peker emphasized that poverty must be eradicated to solve the issue of new-generation mafia groups. He said that young mafia structures in Turkey have become more organized with former soldiers and police officers who have left state service. Predicting that mafia structures in Turkey could become more powerful in the future, he said, "It is not a remote possibility that this system will turn into cartels like those in Colombia and Mexico."
Peker expressed his hope that the state would produce a solution to prevent mafia formations, saying, "I hope the political will and our supreme state can create the best solution."
