Following Gürlek's appointment, a 'pessimistic' approach has emerged within the CHP regarding prison visits by party members. In particular, there is talk of the expectation that CHP leader Özgür Özel's meetings with imprisoned CHP members, which he conducted as a pharmacist, could be obstructed once again.
