Striking result in ORC poll: Preferences of tradespeople and minimum wage earners are starting to shift!
Citizens crushed under the weight of high inflation have begun to change their preferences at the ballot box. In the latest poll by ORC Research, both minimum wage earners and tradespeople are turning toward the CHP, while a significant decline in the AKP has drawn attention.

The deepening economic crisis and high inflation in Turkey have begun to directly affect the political preferences of citizens. As discussions on early elections gain momentum, polling companies are releasing their research one after another.
The latest poll released by ORC Research on September 8, 2025, revealed the orientations of tradespeople and minimum wage earners in particular.
MINIMUM WAGE EARNERS' VOTES ARE SHIFTING TO THE CHP
In the survey conducted between September 2-6 with 1,450 minimum wage-earning voters across 26 provinces, the question "If there were an election this Sunday, which party would you vote for?" was asked.
The results showed that the CHP is in the lead by a wide margin:
CHP: 33.8%
AKP: 29.6%
MHP: 6.7%
DEM Party: 5.8%
İYİ Party: 4.5%
Zafer Party: 3.9%
New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi): 3.5%
Yerli ve Milli Party: 2.3%
TİP: 2.2%
Saadet Party: 1.9%
Other: 5.8%
A similar picture emerged in the survey conducted with 1,220 tradespeople as part of the same research. While the CHP's votes ranked first, the AKP remained behind:
