Striking result in the latest election poll! Announced by saying 'It's happening for the first time in 25-30 years'

Sonar Research President Hakan Bayrakçı explained the most current poll results regarding Turkey's political agenda to Özlem Gürses. He made important assessments on topics such as the current status of the CHP, the AKP's loss of votes, society's perspective on the arrest of young people, and the possibility of an early election.

"I AM SEEING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 25-30 YEARS. THE AK PARTY SEES THIS TOO"

Here are the highlights from Bayrakçı's statements where he evaluated the parties one by one.

"People are saying there should be an early election. I am seeing this at such a high level for the first time in 25-30 years. I am sure the government and the AK Party see these results. The figures in all research companies are coming out more or less like this. I know these charts are being seen.

"CHP'S VOTE HAS RISEN TO 36%"

After the votes it received in the local elections, the CHP had fallen to 30-31%. Now it has risen to 36% again. The CHP is on the rise. Özgür Özel's attitude, especially his approach and tone after the arrest of Ekrem İmamoğlu, had a great impact on this. It was even said that a different Özgür Özel had emerged. This reflected very positively on the CHP. Of course, İmamoğlu's arrest also gained points for the CHP. Because in cases of victimization, society changes its opinion by 2 points, 5 points, and sometimes even 10 points.

"AKP IS AT THE 28, 29 LEVEL"

As for the AKP, it had gained some ground again and approached 34-35% about 3 or 4 months ago, especially after Assad was toppled in Syria. Now it has fallen back to 30%. In other words, it gives me the impression that it is about to fall to figures like 29 or 28.

"PEOPLE WERE HESITANT TO SAY 'DEM-SUPPORTED', THIS PERIOD IS ENDING"

The DEM Party has not fallen below 8% for years, even if it just hung its jacket up. It was a party that was not fully visible before, but now it has started to be in the spotlight. People were hesitant to say 'DEM-supported', but this period is ending. DEM is maintaining its position.

"THERE IS A DECLINE TO 7% IN THE MHP"

The MHP has lost two or three points. No matter what, even some details of a nationalist party can be repulsive to its voters. In other words, Bahçeli's approach might be right or good in principle. Let there be peace, let the terrorist organization PKK lay down its arms, etc... People might like these, but when the second or third man of the MHP is constantly referred to as 'Mr. Öcalan', and influential MHP executives look down and do not intervene, and it is said that "Öcalan should come to Parliament", and Öcalan is defined as a leader, as a 'guide', it can disgust the voter. I see a decline to 7% in the MHP.

"THE IYI PARTY HAS STARTED TO FEEL THE EFFECT OF ITS HARSH RHETORIC"

The İYİ Party has started to feel the effect of its harsh rhetoric. This harsh rhetoric has started to reflect in votes. We see that it is receiving votes from nationalist, Kemalist CHP supporters, like half a point or 1 point; and 1.5 points from MHP voters.

ZAFER PARTY

The Zafer Party's march toward 6% or 7% is also due to its silence. But I honestly think that this could rise again with Ümit Özdağ being released.

I am someone who thinks that the arrest of Ekrem İmamoğlu and Ümit Özdağ will gain points for the opposition and cause the government to lose points, and I am someone who sees that this is the case.

Rallies are not normally an indicator of votes. A rally can be a massive crowd, but the expected vote does not come out. We last experienced examples of this with Muharrem İnce. We saw it at Kılıçdaroğlu's Van rally. However, these are still an image, an impression, and they give an idea. At least they are important in terms of perception.
