Striking results in GÜNDEMAR poll: Behind in all second-round scenarios
In GÜNDEMAR Research's April 2026 poll, it was observed that Ekrem İmamoğlu, Mansur Yavaş, and Özgür Özel were ahead of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in presidential election scenarios.

The results of the "Turkey Agenda Research" conducted by GÜNDEMAR Research between April 23-26, 2026, have been shared with the public. In the study conducted with 2,250 people, the picture that emerged after the distribution of undecided voters, those who said "I have no opinion," and protest voters drew attention.
According to the research, the CHP maintained its position as the leading party with 36.10 percent of the vote. The AKP took second place with 28.56 percent.
PARTY VOTE SHARES ANNOUNCED
According to the research results, the vote distribution of the parties was as follows:
CHP: 36.10 percent
AKP: 28.56 percent
DEM Party: 8.61 percent
MHP: 7.40 percent
İYİ Party: 5.19 percent
Zafer Party: 5.03 percent
Other parties: 3.16 percent
Anahtar Party: 3.12 percent
Yeniden Refah Party: 2.01 percent
TİP: 0.82 percent
The research also included results regarding potential presidential second-round scenarios. It was observed that Recep Tayyip Erdoğan remained behind in measurements made with three different opposition candidates.
According to the research, the results for a second-round race between Ekrem İmamoğlu and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were measured as follows:
Ekrem İmamoğlu: 57.35 percent
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan: 42.65 percent
It was stated that the difference between the two names was 14.70 points.
In the measurement made between Mansur Yavaş and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the following results emerged:
Mansur Yavaş: 57.83 percent
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan: 42.17 percent
It was noted that the difference in this scenario was 15.66 points.
ÖZGÜR ÖZEL SCENARIO
In the second-round measurement made between Özgür Özel and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the results were as follows:
Özgür Özel: 52.99 percent
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan: 47.01 percent
It was stated that the difference between the two candidates in this scenario was 5.98 points.
Evaluating the research results, Tamer Bolat stated that the current political balance continues in trends regarding parliamentary elections.
In his assessment, Bolat expressed that the CHP maintains its position as the leading party, while the AK Party continues to be one of the fundamental actors of political competition.
Noting that opposition candidates provide advantages at different levels against Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in presidential second-round scenarios, Bolat said that the difference is more pronounced in the Mansur Yavaş and Ekrem İmamoğlu scenarios, while the race is shaped within a narrower range in the Özgür Özel scenario.
Bolat also stated that the April 2026 data shows the current balance in politics is maintained, but that the choice of candidate in the presidential race is one of the critical elements determining voter behavior.
