Warning from pro-government columnist: The 'Erdoğan will win anyway' mindset is a thing of the past!

Internal unrest within the AKP continues to cause significant repercussions behind the scenes, with tensions regarding economic management, the party's bureaucratic structure, and cabinet members remaining at the forefront of the agenda.

According to some claims, criticism directed at Treasury Minister Mehmet Şimşek has increased, and the bureaucracy within the party has now become an insurmountable obstacle. Furthermore, tensions between ministers and their deputies have led to significant unease within the party.

The appointments made to the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Justice are of great importance in terms of both cabinet changes and preparations for the election process. Sabah newspaper columnist Okan Müderrisoğlu stated that the AKP's political scene has been revitalized by the new ministerial appointments.

Müderrisoğlu expressed that even the limited moves made by Erdoğan are perceived as an important "message" by the government, party organizations, and the bureaucracy. He emphasized that these moves serve as a reminder that positions are temporary and that what truly matters is "service" and the "cause."

Müderrisoğlu stated that in the AKP's political culture, positions are not a goal, and the primary objective is success demonstrated through service to the nation. Congratulating the newly appointed Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek and Minister of Interior Mustafa Çiftçi, Müderrisoğlu expressed that the work to be carried out in the coming period must be timely and efficient.

Pointing out that a productive work period of approximately 1.5 years has begun, considering the expectations that the election process will be moved forward, Müderrisoğlu emphasized that solving the problems in the public's daily life will be politically decisive.

He stated that cabinet members need to update their communication with party organizations, the media, and headquarters to complete the "fine-tuning" required in the Presidential Government System.

Müderrisoğlu stated, "The mindset of 'The Chief is at our head anyway, he will win the election regardless' is a thing of the past," and expressed that AKP cadres must now be in a position to take on burdens rather than being a burden to President Erdoğan. He also added that personal interests and political career plans should not have a place in this critical period, stating that a new political era has begun for the AKP.

Müderrisoğlu pointed out that the political stance of the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı) must also change. Emphasizing that the political structure created under Erdoğan's leadership must be built on a more solid foundation, Müderrisoğlu stated that the coming period will be based on harmony and efficient work within the party. In this context, it was stated that party members should prioritize serving the nation over their own career calculations.
