Nihal Olçok, one of the founders of the Gelecek Party, announced her resignation on social media.

In her post, Olçok stated, "As of this moment, I am resigning from my founding membership of the Gelecek Party, which I helped establish. May God grant peace."



WHO IS NİHAL OLÇOK?

Born in Skopje, Macedonia in 1978 and arriving in Turkey at the age of 4, Nihal Olçok is a graduate of the Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration. Nihal Olçok married Erol Olçok in 1998, and the couple had three children from this marriage named (martyr) Abdullah Tayyip, Cahar Şamil, and Emir Dursun.

Nihal Olçok wrote a book titled 'Şehitoğlu şehit: 15 Temmuz şehitleri Erol Olçok ve Abdullah Tayyip Olçok'un hikayesi' (Martyr son of a martyr: The story of July 15 martyrs Erol Olçok and Abdullah Tayyip Olçok) in the name of her husband and son, whom she lost during the July 15 coup attempt.
