Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Bekir Bozdağ gave the floor to three deputies for off-agenda statements before proceeding to the agenda.

MHP Balıkesir Deputy Ekrem Gökay Yüksel voiced the demands of livestock farmers in Balıkesir.

Stating that Balıkesir holds an important place in the agriculture and livestock sector, Yüksel noted that the Merino and Kıvırcık hybrid sheep raised in the city are known as the "Balıkesir lamb" and that these animals receive great interest from consumers.

Yüksel stated that small ruminants brought into the city from outside are being sold as "Balıkesir lamb" and requested that inspections be carried out on this matter.

CHP Hatay Deputy Mehmet Güzelmansur, in his speech regarding "the problems of Hatay," reminded that the city was also affected by the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023.

Arguing that the problems of those living in Hatay have not been resolved following the earthquakes, Güzelmansur opened papers listing the problems, saying, "This is the tangle of Hatay's problems." Mehmet Güzelmansur claimed that aid for household goods has not been provided, that Hatay has been left abandoned, and that the tangle of problems is growing.
