Hakan Fidan announces: First institutional decisions of the Makkah Defense Alliance taken in Istanbul

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that the first institutional decisions regarding the Makkah Defense Alliance were officially taken at the Strategic Political and Defense Committee meeting held in Istanbul.

In a statement on his social media account, Fidan noted that the meeting was held with Pakistani and Saudi Arabian officials.

Today, at the Strategic Political and Defense Committee meeting we held in Istanbul with our Pakistani and Saudi Arabian brothers, we officially took the first institutional decisions of the Makkah Defense Alliance. We thank all the officials who contributed. May it be auspicious once again for our region.
