Hakan Fidan held talks with Blinken and Haniyeh!

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held two notable phone calls.

According to information obtained from diplomatic sources, Minister Fidan spoke on the phone with his US counterpart Blinken.

During the call, where the latest developments in Gaza and the situation in Ukraine were discussed, Fidan touched upon the importance of achieving a permanent ceasefire in Gaza as soon as possible and emphasized that obstacles to the delivery of humanitarian aid to the region must be removed.

Fidan stated that Israel's attack on Rafah is unacceptable.

The Foreign Minister later spoke with the Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh.

The latest status of the ceasefire negotiations was discussed during the meeting.
