Handover ceremony at CHP to be held tomorrow

Özgür Özel, who was elected Chairman at the 38th Ordinary Congress held over the weekend, will begin his duties as the 8th Chairman of the CHP with a handover ceremony to be held tomorrow.

A NEW ERA BEGINS TOMORROW

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was elected chairman at the 33rd Ordinary Congress held in 2010 and has held this position uninterruptedly for 13 years, will hand over this duty to Özgür Özel tomorrow. With Özgür Özel taking over the chairmanship, a new era will begin in the CHP.

The first test for Özel, who has taken the title of the party's 8th Chairman, will be the local elections.

CENTRAL EXECUTIVE BOARD TO BE FORMED ON SATURDAY

Özgür Özel, who will hold his first meeting with the Party Assembly (PM) on Saturday, November 11, will form the Central Executive Board (MYK), known as the "A-team," by consulting the members' opinions. It is stated that Özgür Özel's new MYK will be comprehensive and will make an appointment for every field.

Özel, who will chair the first meeting of the new MYK to be held on Monday, November 13, will also address the deputies at the group meeting for the first time as chairman on Tuesday.
