Handover in the AKP: Hamza Dağ transfers his duties to Faruk Acar

Following the announcement of the AKP's new Central Executive Board (MYK), changes in party roles have begun. Former Head of Promotion and Media Hamza Dağ transferred his duties to Faruk Acar. The handover ceremony took place with the participation of party members.

In his speech at the ceremony, Hamza Dağ stated that the 2023 election campaign was one of the most challenging in the history of the Republic. "We had stated that we would see the toughest election in the history of the Republic. With the message that the Century of Türkiye is beginning, we accomplished significant work across the country together with our teammates under the leadership of our President. Ultimately, our President won this election with 52 percent of the vote," he said. Dağ emphasized that the campaign was successful and that their party gained great momentum during this process.

FARUK ACAR ASSUMES OFFICE  

After assuming office, the new Head of Promotion and Media, Faruk Acar, began his speech by thanking President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, saying, "I would also like to thank my friend Hamza Dağ, who was instrumental in my introduction to politics and who transferred this position to me today. This position is not just about gaining power, but is built upon supporting our President and managing the process with a professional perspective." Acar added that he would work with all his effort to contribute to the AKP family, stating, "All my efforts, my nights and days, will be with our colleagues who work hard here together."
